8.50am – que for scrambled egg and bacon sandwich

9.00am – reach office, read newspaper to check on companies’ results

9.10am – clear emails, send relevant news coverage to clients

9.30am – start working on press release for Client 1

9.30am – 10.00am – interrupted by Client 2 to revise press release written last night

10.00am – 11.00am – continue press release for Client 1

11.00am – discrupted by TNT; to courier out thumdrives for Client 3 to Beijing

11.45am – resume writing of press release for Client 1

12.10pm – buy back lunch

1.30pm – continue with press release for Client 1

2.30pm – complete press release for Client 1

3.30pm – client pass on final amendments of document

3.45pm – internal discussion on changes

4.45pm – make final amendments

6.00pm – send over to Client 1 for approval

Meanwhile, keep on refreshing SGX page to check Client 2’s release of announcement

6.30pm – Client 1 approved press release

NOW: refreshing SGX page to check Client 1 and Client 2’s release of announcement….
