LIFE in 2009

Me is bored.

Me thinks this year is a year of rubber band – looking back at my Photo Albums, of the photos that I’ve taken for the past 12 months – man have I expanded and shrunk, expanded and shrunk.

I guess that’s the beauty of life. Constant change. Rid Stagnation.

I have definitely aged, but I thought I felt more beautiful inside out.

Christmas with the Princesses (and with their princes of course)

Hey people! It’s been a few months since we last met (for some of us) and it’s high time that we hurl our asses to gather again for Christmas 2009!

Some of you have volunteered my place once again, and I gladly volunteer my own place as well. This time round, you can pick your choice of dinner – being Table Grill Dinner or Steamboat Dinner.

Grill food comprises:
1) Butter mushrooms served with crispy golden onion and capsicums
2) Fillet Fish marinated in Spicy Sambal Chilli Sauce
3) Chicken coated in Black Pepper or Teriyaki Sauce
4) Beef or Pork coated in Plain or Black Pepper Sauce
5) Aglio Oglio with mushrooms and prawns to go
6) Grilled Pineapples served with melted Chocolate Fudge
7) Grilled Potatoes coated with Mayonnaise Sauce

Steamboat comprises:
1) Normal kinda food that we usually have, topped with 12 Lorong Sarhad’s signature fried chicken wings

Some random thoughts

Ahhh, how i love the chilly rainy weather, when i’m at home and especially not at work.

Exception of lagging behind my intended gym sessions and excessive retail indulgence, I am having a guilty free holiday (despite my colleague complaining about covering my busy account in my absence).

That being said, it absolutely doesn’t mean that i’m being a piggy – I woke up early and do the normal thing of dropping my mom and sister to work, picked up romil’s cousin brother and younger brother from the airport, hosted them up till lunch time and when they got put to bed at Swissohotel.

Sometimes I wonder if it makes sense to not be in the fashion entrepreneurial line when I spend a majority of my net income financing my pretty clothes when I should ideally be creating and making them instead, and using it as a source of financing instead. Apparels and accessories, its details,  make me very happy and passionate.

Anyway, December should be a busy month for me, aside from being a birthday month for me. After a housewarming session at my poly mate’s new pad last week, everyone seems to have caught the ‘gathering let’s reconnect and meet up’ fever, including myself. I miss my schooling days – and believe it or not – I miss very much of my poly days: Zhenzhi, Anna and Janice. Yes, we have moved on with our own individual lives and have lost contact, but thank god for Facebook and PS’s housewarming gathering, we got transported back to the days of sweet innocence and after these few years of roughing it out at the corporate workforce, we want to reminisce those days of simplicity again.

Off to a short nap before kokkee picks me up. Ciao.
